The Initial Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a relatively obscure console. Platform-specific outlets began covering on PS5 topics as a new development. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for the tech giant's gaming arm. But if we're going solely off what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox remains determined to engage players with quality releases on its flagship service.

The Available Now Titles

A pair of titles you can play right now as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's deserving of attention.

Upcoming Headline Games

Come mid-January, the subscription service will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up conventional open-world tropes with a space-faring criminal escapade. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "a superb mixture of terror and combat."

Intriguing Niche Additions

Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, drops on Jan. 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Well-Rounded Collection

In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are very dependable. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and relatively recent releases that failed to receive the spotlight they were due initially — which makes them perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
